Private beta is open

You can now sign up for early access to Helmi, with onboarding starting in small groups. This update also introduces subscriptions, AI usage tracking, and persistent editing history.

Subscriptions

Self-serve Beta and Pro plans are now available. You can subscribe, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel through Stripe. Enterprise plans are available on request.

Additional updates

• Undo/redo history is now saved to the cloud and preserved across sessions and devices, including both user and Helmi-generated edits
• AI usage now includes per-model cost breakdowns, real-time credit balance, and monthly usage summaries

Helmi editing agent

The Helmi editing agent is here. Hand your footage over and let Helmi handle the editing for you. This update also makes it easier to move between planning and editing.

Editing agent

Helmi can now edit videos on your behalf — cutting, trimming, rearranging, and assembling clips on the timeline, just like you would in the manual editor. For now the agent works within the same single-track editing model, so audio and overlays are not yet supported. More editing capabilities will be added step by step.

Smarter video analysis

This update brings a major improvement to how Helmi analyzes your videos. The new analysis is faster, more cost-efficient, and gives Helmi a much better understanding of your footage.

Video analysis

Video analysis has been rebuilt to be faster, cheaper, and more comprehensive. Helmi now gets a richer foundation for understanding what your videos contain, which will directly improve the quality of automated edits going forward.

Manual video editing

You can now edit videos directly in the app with a hands-on timeline editor. This update also brings a custom video player and improved project controls.

Timeline editor

The manual video editor is here. You can add, remove, cut, trim, move, and duplicate clips on the timeline. The editor currently supports a single track — audio editing and overlays like text, images, and additional video layers are coming in later updates.
