Tracking your quote request in Helmi

In Helmi, you can request quotes from the businesses you find and follow progress in your project. Request statuses and incoming responses show how sending is progressing and when you can start comparing proposals.

Approve sending the request

Helmi suggests suitable recipients. Use that list or add and remove businesses. Review the description and questions in the preview, then approve sending with the button in the app. Helmi does not send requests without your explicit approval. Our guide to reviewing a quote request helps you check the content first.

Follow the sending status in your project. A business appearing in the results, or a completed draft, does not yet mean the request has been delivered.

After sending, watch for responses

Check the project for sending progress and any notices. If sending is still underway or the interface shows an error, follow its instructions. Wait until the status of the first request is clear before sending another identical request.

Once a request is delivered, the next step is a response from the business. It may send a quote, ask for more information, or explain its availability. Its response determines what you can do next with that provider.

Compare the responses

Open responses in Helmi’s offers view and read the attachments too. Compare what each business proposes, what is included, and what remains unresolved. A request for a site visit, for instance, may mean that the scope and price cannot be confirmed until the provider sees the property.

Discuss the responses with Helmi and ask for help identifying differences or missing information. Our guide to comparing responses can help you move to the next step.

Decide who to follow up with

You can select a suitable quote for follow-up or decline it. Helmi notifies the business of your decision. If the interface reports that this notification failed, contact Helmi support to resolve the issue.

Agree on the next step with your selected business by email. That might be clarification, a site visit, or placing an order. Our guide to choosing a business helps you turn an interesting proposal into an agreed way forward.
