What you can do with Helmi
Helmi Search is an AI tool for finding businesses that fit your needs, requesting quotes, and comparing their responses. Asking several businesses helps you understand the approaches available and decide who you would like to work with. Start by describing what you want to achieve and where, in your own words.
Start with the help you need
Your starting point can be a problem to fix, an idea to bring to life, or an everyday task you would like help with. You might need a contractor for a home renovation, catering for a celebration, a company photo shoot, or a custom piece of furniture.
For example, needing storage for an awkwardly shaped hallway already says a lot: the space has constraints, and the furniture should make everyday life easier. Describe the space and what you want, even if you do not know which construction method or material would work best. A professional can help design the solution as well as build it.
You can also start by looking for an assessment or a site visit. You do not need finished plans or a decision to commission the entire job before you search.
Say where the work needs to take place and whether it can be done remotely. Results depend on the businesses and information available for that area. Choosing an English interface does not change your project’s location.
Find businesses that fit the work
Helmi may ask about the property or project, the scope, and the timing. These questions help clarify the help you need. During the conversation, you can explore possible providers and information about individual businesses.
As you consider the options, look at the work a business actually does and what you still need to learn about its experience. Relevant past projects may tell you more than a broad list of services. You can confirm suitability and availability through direct communication.
Send your quote requests
Helmi suggests suitable businesses. Use the suggested list or add and remove recipients. Send the requests with the app’s send button; Helmi does not send them without your explicit approval. You can then compare the businesses’ own proposals for the work.
Before sending, Helmi helps turn your conversation into a draft quote request. Check that the description and questions reflect what you need. You can track sending progress in your project.
Helmi is free for customers and businesses. Sending quote requests requires a free account. Our guide to describing your needs can help you make your first search.
Compare responses and decide what comes next
Businesses respond by email. Read their messages and attachments in Helmi’s offers view, then compare scope, approach, schedule, and price. Two businesses may propose different amounts of work for the same need; comparison helps you understand why.
You can also discuss the responses with Helmi. Ask how well each proposal addresses your goals or what information is still missing.
You decide which business to continue with. Select a suitable option for follow-up and carry on the conversation by email. You agree on the work and its terms with the business separately.
